THE LIZZY DEVLIN SCHOLARSHIP FUND
ABOUT LIZZY

Elizabeth Rose Devlin (Lizzy) passed away on April 16, 2016 from Substance Use Disorder at the age of 23.
At the time of her passing, Lizzy's family decided amidst their overwhelming grief to become involved in some way with recovery efforts so that no other family would have to experience the profound grief and loss of losing a loved one to Substance Use Disorder.
The Lizzy Devlin Scholarship was established by the Amber Reineck House in partnership with Lizzy Devlin's family and the many supporters that have donated through personal Facebook donations and other donations to this fund.
Upon approval, recipients of the Lizzy Devlin Scholarship Fund will have their intake fees and first month’s rent covered for their entry into an approved recovery home. This scholarship is specifically designed to support individuals continuing their recovery journey in a long-term, accredited recovery home. Grants are approved and authorized by the Amber Reineck House Board of Directors, ensuring a smooth transition into a supportive environment.
The Amber Reineck House established the Lizzy Devlin Scholarship Fund in 2019, and in 2020, we proudly opened our first women's recovery home in Livingston County.

In line with our mission, all donations to this fund will provide financial assistance to Livingston County residents—both men and women—seeking recovery housing through our partner, Home of New Vision in Ann Arbor, or other qualified recovery service providers.
